Investors in the cryptocurrency are increasingly concerned about their safety as more bull runs approach. When investors build their portfolios, they must take hardware wallets to store their assets and keep them safe.

To be as secure as possible, they must find a suitable wallet that will provide support for all their belongings.

There are many wallets on the market that meet the needs of different groups of people. Wallets differ in terms of different support. This allows potential customers to hesitate to choose the right wallet.

This article is to help you determine the best crypto wallet for you based on the cryptocurrency you have and need to store.

Design

The designer team which is behind the Exodus wallet worked hard to make the software as simple as possible. The interface is clean and has features that a basic user might want to use. This includes the send and receives the function of each asset, portfolio view, trading feature, and recovery /backup functions.

Design is, of course, very important for the creator of the Exodus wallet. A user can change the appearance of the software in the menu. There are various themes to choose from. These themes are good and give the software a professional look.

You can also change the background color of the wallet. This option is quite cute because you can only choose different shades of dark purple, dark blue, and black.

Cryptocurrencies supported by Exodus wallet

Exodus is compatible with many platforms and provides support for a wide range of cryptocurrencies – the total number of these cryptos varies and is dependent on the platform you use.

Ethereum and ERC20 token support

Made on Ethereum protocol ERC20 tokens are cryptocurrency. To be compatible with the Ethereum protocol, these ERC20 tokens follow the ERC20 rules. To send an ERC20 token to another wallet requires that the sender have sufficient ether to pay the transaction fees. This fee, otherwise called as Gas, depends on the complexity of the transaction.

If a user is using a desktop version or Trezor client, the Exodus wallet supports the ERC20 token, but the mobile app. users cannot store these ERC20 tokens in the Exodus wallet. Additionally, users cannot exchange the ERC20 tokens on the built-in Exodus exchange.

To make things even more convenient for users, Exodus has integrated its exchange to the wallet. Although the fees are higher than on a regular exchange, it is much easier for the users to change their crypto coins on the exchange.

While all the cryptocurrencies that Exodus naturally supports can be traded on its exchanges but the ERC20 cannot be traded on the exchange. ERC20 tokens can only be stored, received, and sent but they are not supported by the exchange.

Wallet backup

For backup of the wallet, Exodus allows its users to back up wallet with twelve (12) word seeds phrase. According to the Exodus, “backing up your wallet is necessary to secure your crypto assets and allow you to regain access to your assets on another device in the event of a failure of device, loss or device theft.”

Users usually write down these 12-word seed phrases on a paper, but the paper can be exposed to actions, such as fire and flood. Billfodl is the most reliable and flexible seed recovery on the market for any cryptographic wallet with a 316 stainless steel laser cutting unit and a set of tiles with many numbers and engraved letters.

The included tiles allow you to recreate the seed that was given when you set up your wallet and hide the unit in a safe place until you need it.

Support

Some users of Exodus wallet reviews will tell you that most wallets and encryption services lack good customer service. Because most wallets are open and free, they cannot provide support just because they have to pay people to answer customer questions. But the Exodus is different.

Exodus makes money by charging transaction fees on trade made with the in-built exchange. Because of this, they can provide the right email support for users.

I have never personally benefited from customer support at Exodus. However, the Internet is full of people’s stories about its use. They are usually very positive and Exodus seems to be doing a great job of keeping its customers happy.

Besides customer support, Exodus customers can view a lot of articles on the net about the Exodus wallet. These articles fully describe the functions of the wallet. They also have free information and advice for users who face any problem. Many videos about Exodus are also available there who can show you how to use the wallet features.

Exodus is a good combination of security measures and storage/exchange options. Exodus wallet cryptocurrencies list offers support for more than 100 cryptocurrencies and many ERC20 tokens, which is good for anyone who wants to enlarge their portfolio.

Besides, Exodus can be integrated with the Trezor hardware device for achieving maximum security and safety. Accessibility and easy exchange use make it a great wallet. However, sometimes cryptocurrency exchange fees can be very expensive.
